Welcome to the Friends of Stanground St John’s (FoSSJ)

Our Friends Association runs fundraising and social events for the whole school community. Our fundraising efforts have enhanced the education and experience of all the children at the school and will continue to do so with your support. All families of pupils at our school are automatically members of Friends and all family members and members of the school community are invited to get involved.

100 CLUB: We are running a school lottery - £1 per month. Open to all members of the school community over the age of 16. Please contact friends@stanground-st-johns.peterborough.sch.uk or ask at the office if you’d like to take part.

CALLING ALL WORKING PARENTS – if your employer has a matched giving scheme or volunteer involvement programme you could help us increase the amount of money we’re able to raise. If you’re able to do this or you’d like to find out more about it, please do get in touch.

Committee meetings will be advertised on our noticeboard in the school playground – all are welcome – please come along to support your child and school.

Last year we raised over £3200 which was used for a school trip to the pantomime, paying for Leavers’ Books and Reception class book bags, phonics books, sports bibs for the whole school and 3 large gazebos.

The more help we have the more we can do, so please get in touch if you can help in any way, whether it’s being a committee member, helping plan or run an event, doing shopping for the disco, designing posters/flyers or helping count money … everything helps.
